We all have expectations of our clients and they have expectations of us or assume things based on things we communicate. The key is that we sometimes do not communicate information as well as we could, and we often times forget that no one is able to read minds. Expectations and assumptions can get us all into trouble if we don’t take a few moments to step back and think about how well we communicate details, how we can improve that communications and compare those expectations and assumptions to reality.
