We all have expectations of our clients and the same client have expectations of us. At least, clients will naturally assume certain things based on what we communicate.
The key is: we sometimes may not communicate information as well as we could, and we often times forget that no one is a mindreader.
Expectations and assumptions can get us all into trouble if we don’t take a few moments to step back and think about how well we communicate details, how we can improve that communications and compare those expectations and assumptions to reality. By reality, we mean the facts. In today’s episode, Jessica and Dan talk about these types of expectations and assumptions, how they might get us into trouble, and ways to prevent them.
